CLUB UNICORNIO RECORDS is a label specializing in obscure and underground Spanish language music. From Mexican dance punk, to rare Latin breaks, to the newest in electro cumbia and beyond. Based in Oakland and Los Angeles, the label was formed by two good friends SONIDO FRANKO and DJ LENGUA. What began as dj’s throwing legendary west coast parties, putting out numerous mix CD's, and producing compilations from their rare record collections, FRANKO and LENGUA decided to turn their focus onto putting out the music they produce and love onto vinyl. The debut release of the DJ LENGUA EP in 2008 marks the beginning of the UNICORNIO catalogue and the beginning of a great sonic adventure to come!
